'여명(黎明)의 시간'

해와 달이 공존하여 어둠과 밝음이 만나는 시간,
어둡지도 밝지도 않은 그 어스름한 순간이 인간에겐 감정이 풍부해지는 순간이 아닐까 싶다.
여명(黎明)의 시간은 새롭지만 낯설지 않은 시각요소임과 동시에 심리적인 요소에도 영향을 끼친다. 떠오르는 빛은 희망과 힘, 그리고 새로운 시작을, 드리워지는 어둠은 안정과 차분한 휴식을 이야기하는듯하다.
명과 암이 공존하는 이 공간은 대비가 이루어지지만 이를 어우러지게 만드는 무언가를 통해 여명의 스토리를 담고자 했다.

전체적인 웜그레이 톤의 공간 속에 구조들은 힘 있게 구성하여 대비를 주었지만 대비의 강인함이 도드라지지 않도록 중간중간 곡선 요소들을 사용하여 중성적인 느낌이 느껴지도록 하였다.
어둡고 강인한 직선 형태의 구조를 빛과 곡선의 요소로 적절히 중화시킨 것이다.
일부 벽체에서는 스스럼없이 떠오르는 태양의 빛, 즉 일출의 요소를 담아 이를 표현하였다. 벽체 한편의 선반을 통해 명과 암의 단계와 그에 따른 사물의 변화, 즉 시간의 흐름을 시각화하고 오브제로 표현하였다. 긴 선반은 브러싱 된 금속을 통해 가까울수록 빛을 반사하여 밝게 느껴지고 멀어질수록 어두운 이미지가 강조되게 표현하였고, 이에 오브제들은 명암을 통해 그 순간의 흔적으로 남는다.

이 공간에서만큼은 짧지만 아름다운 순간, 여명의 시간이 멈춰 있길 바란다.

'Dawn Breaks'

The time when the sun and moon coexist and darkness and brightness meet, I think that the dusky moment, which is neither dark nor bright, is a moment when emotions become abundant.
Dawn is a new but not unfamiliar visual element, and at the same time, it affects psychological factors. The rising light seems to talk of hope and strength, and a new beginning, and the casting darkness seems to talk of stability and calm rest.
In this space where brightness and darkness coexist, we tried to tell the story of dawn through something that contrasts but makes it harmonize.

The structures were strongly constructed in the overall warm gray-toned space to provide contrast, but curve elements were used in the middle to make the contrast feel neutral so that the strength of the contrast was not pronounced.
It is a proper neutralization of a dark, strong linear structure with elements of light and curve.
In some walls, the light of the sun that rises without hesitation, that is, the element of sunrise, is expressed. Through the shelf on the side of the wall, the stage of light and shade and the corresponding change of objects, that is, the passage of time, were visualized and expressed as objects. The long shelf reflects light as it gets closer through the brushed metal, and the brighter it feels, and the darker the image is emphasized as it gets further away, and the objects remain traces of the moment through contrast.

We hope that the short but beautiful moment of dawn will last forever in this space.
